The Central Bank of Nigeria ( CBN) has denied that its website was hacked on Friday stating emphatically that the website is secured.
A report from the TheNewsGuru stated that a top management source said the site has not been hacked but was blocked when it saw attempts were made to hack it.
“It has been blocked to the US, UK, France, etc. Nigerians however can access it intermittently. It will remains blocked till Monday. Keep trying the site , it opens sometimes,” he said.
Meanwhile, Osita Nwanisobi Acting director Corporate Communications, CBN in a statement also denied the hacking of the website.
