Pope Francis, the head of the Catholic Church on Sunday reacted to the #EndSARS protest in Nigeria by calling for prayers for the country.
Theplebisciteworld.com reports Pope Francis reacted via his official Twitter handle following the shooting at the Lekki Tollgate Plaza and the mayhem that occurred afterwards across the country.
“Let us pray to the Lord for Nigeria, so that every form of violence might always be avoided, in the constant search of social harmony through the promotion of justice and the common good,” the Pope tweeted.
