Popular Islamic cleric, Sheikh Muhyideen Ajani Bello on Friday, said President Muhamadu Buhari was already tired of the situation in the country
Bello, who is the Chairman, Northern states’ council missioners of Ansarudeen Society of Nigeria made the claims while addressing journalists in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
Bello, however, claimed that the solution to the problems confronting the country is for everyone to turn to God in prayer.
The Islamic cleric spoke shortly after delivering a sermon at the one-year memorial Fidau prayer for the immediate past Governor of the State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi.
Ajimobi died at a Lagos hospital on 25th June 2020 at the age of 70.
Those who present at the event include Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Rauf Olaniyan, his counterpart from Ondo, Lucky Ayedatiwa, former Governor of Oyo State, Otunba Christopher Adebayo Alao-Akala, his wife, Kemi.
Others are Ajimobi’s wife, Florence Ajimobi, son, Idris Ajimobi and other members of Ajimobi’s family, Chairman, Senate Committee on Land Transport, Dr. Abdulfatai Buhari, Senator Teslim Folarin, former Commissioner for Finance in Oyo State, Zackeus Adelabu, Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Olamilekan Adegbite and Olasunkanmi Tegbe.
Islamic clerics who graced the occasion also include Sheikh Habeebullahi Buhari, Dr. Bashir Olanrewaju, Mudathir Bada, Salauddeen Adekilekun and Abdul-Ganiyy Abdulsalam.
During his lecture, Bello insisted that Nigeria has entered a ‘one chance’ vehicle ( that’s Nigeria has being hijacked by con men) going by the current challenges facing the country, claiming that President Buhari as a leader was already tired of the situation.
“The whole of Nigeria is in one chance. What is happening in Maiduguri? Do we end it? So the whole of Nigeria, we are in one chance.
“We are in one chance because Buhari as a leader is already tired of what is happening in this country.
“So, which type of statement did you see the president is making about insecurity in Nigeria?
“I don’t need to talk much about it, the only solution is to pray to Allah. Not one person, everybody is to pray to Allah. That is what can help us to overcome the problem.
“Because now, all of us are in danger. All of us, we are in danger. Because anything can happen anytime.”
