Cry not.😔
before Pilate handed me over
to the thugs in Kenya
Judas had already sold his identity
in exchange for peanut
I know that Pilate didn’t kill me
but there are splashes of
blood on his face
when
I was tortured, hurled
like a lag,
and what’s my crime ?
I breached the law of Pharoah
when the Israelites were at the
brink of extinction.
Cry not
if the sun later sink
in the cloudy sky
for this journey
I befriend death
I’ve seen the arrows of death
I’ve listened to the echoes of doom
I’ve seen hell, in the labyrinth of anguish
Cry not, if I die fighting
’cause’ it’s my pleasure
to die in face of tyranny.
Cry not
they have picked the shell
but the snail is still here
I am now an apparition
in the eyes of our foes
I am now a bone in their throats
I am now a hurricane wind
that shakes the world,
cry not, for
your tears is the only fountain
where Pharoah(s) derive joy.
Cry not
it’s not finished
until the battle is lost and won
tell caiaphas that, after his justice
there will be a hell to pay
tell him that I am the foetus
in the womb of the pregnant sky
tell him that I will fall
like a monsoonal rain
when heaven speaks vengeance
Cry not,
rejoice, for
Israelites are going home.
